When you give through Derash, you send money directly to the beneficiary's own Telebirr or bank account. We never hold, move, or take a percentage of donations — there is no wallet, no escrow, no payout queue. What a campaign page shows is a verified record of money that already arrived where it should.

After sending, a donor (or the beneficiary — either works) pastes the transaction reference. We check it against the payment provider's own records and confirm three things before it counts:

• the money went to the campaign's locked payout account,
• the verified amount matches what was claimed,
• the payment happened after the campaign was approved.

A reference can only ever be counted once, across the whole platform. Anything that doesn't check out goes to a human reviewer — never silently into the total.

No campaign goes live without a person completing a full checklist: the identity document matches the payout account holder, the account is real, the story is consistent, and the beneficiary themselves confirms the campaign. Once approved, the payout account is locked — changing it requires a fresh review.

• Not an escrow or fund holder of any kind.
• Not a guarantor — we verify receipts and review campaigns, but giving is always a direct act between you and the beneficiary.
